Today, Karthiyayini is proudly run by Mr. Vijayan’s son, Vinoo Vijayan, who has inherited his father’s values and commitment to excellence. He ensures that the high standards of hospitality, food quality, and service remain uncompromised.
In 2021, Karthiyayini Restaurants were launched by Jajina Vinoo, daughter-in-law of Mr. Vijayan. A naturally gifted cook, Jajina learned the family’s treasured recipes directly from her father-in-law, assisting him in hosting friends and family. Her passion and attention to freshness and authenticity have earned Karthiyayini multiple accolades, including recognition by Culinary Culture as the Best Seafood Restaurant in Kerala, 4 star rating in seafood by Manorama golden glove award, and several prestigious national awards in the seafood category.
